Rank Group digital revenues on the rise
British gaming services firm Rank Group grew its revenue 2% over the 16 weeks leading to 15 October thanks to a significant increase in its digital revenue business.

While casino and bingo venue revenues fell 1% compared to the same period a year earlier, both of Rank's assets, Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca, posted improved performances in their digital channels.
Grosvenor announced an impressive 34% increase in revenue on Thursday, while Mecca also recorded a double-digit bump of 11%, coming together to create a 19% boost to the business segment, a slight acceleration from the 15% in the last full year.
Rank began the process of centralising the leadership of its retail business team throughout the period, appointing a new managing director, national operations director, marketing officer and group property director to "allow for improved synergies and additional capability in key functions and roles."
The firm also announced it would be release its half yearly results on 1 February.
As of 0817 BST, shares had edged down 0.7% to 228p.
