The FTSE 250 company said Page joined Ted Baker as group finance director in February 1997, before taking on the additional role of chief operating officer in July 2014.
In December, he was appointed acting CEO after an investigation was launched into Ted Baker founder and then-CEO Ray Kelvin, amid harassment claims among Ted Baker employees.
A former employee created a petition in 2018 alleging Kelvin would, among other inappropriate behaviour, force hugs on staff members, which received 2,000 signatures.
Kelvin took voluntary leave of absence on 7 December, before resigning from the company on 4 March following an internal investigation.
During Page’s 22 years with the company, the board said he had been “instrumental” in the development and implementation of many of its strategic initiatives, both in the UK and internationally, underpinning the growth and performance of Ted Baker as a global lifestyle brand.
The nomination committee was now said to be considering further board appointments, which would be announced in due course.
As it had previously announced, David Bernstein would continue to support Lindsay in his capacity as executive chairman until a new non-executive chairman was appointed.
“We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Lindsay as our new CEO,” said David Bernstein.
“Lindsay has been a key driving force in Ted Baker's expansion as a global lifestyle brand over the last 22 years.
“Throughout the process that led to his appointment, Lindsay has demonstrated to myself and the board his unrivalled knowledge of the business and his clear vision on the opportunities and priorities that lie ahead.”
Bernstein said Page was “exceptionally well regarded” by the firm’s teams and partners, making him the “outstanding candidate” for the role.
“On behalf of the board and everyone at Ted Baker, we congratulate Lindsay on his appointment and wish him well in his new role.”
Lindsay Page added that he was “delighted” to have been chosen to be the company's new CEO.
“We have a strong brand and outstanding teams around the world, and I am confident that together we will continue to build on our success and continue to develop Ted Baker as a global lifestyle brand.”
