Launching the direct-to-consumer site 888sport.com in New Jersey will add to existing casino and poker websites already up and running in the US, along with a B2B business.
888, which launched in Nevada nearly six years ago and now has a presence in all three regulated states, said the deal "further strengthens" its relationship with Caesars Entertainment, extending the scope of its partnership to now include sports betting.
Following the overturning of the ban on sports betting in the US, 888 said the New Jersey launch "paves the way" for launches in additional states as regulation allows.
After Nevada had previously been the only state to allow betting, with New Jersey and Delaware being the first states to take advantage of May's Supreme Court ruling. Pennsylvania established temporary regulations in June, with Mississippi and West Virginia and Rhode Island also now allowing bets.
Itai Frieberger, chief executive of 888, said: "The launch of 888sport.com in New Jersey is a major milestone for the company in our ongoing expansion across the regulated US online gaming market and provides 888 with a unique and truly multi-product proposition in what is currently the largest regulated US state."
He said sport, casino and poker products were now all operational in the US and that his team were "continually developing our proposition, brands and technology to ensure that the Group remains exceptionally well positioned to capture the potentially significant future growth opportunities as new regulation allows".
