Johnson's chairman Bill Shannon told investors at the group's annual general meeting on Wednesday that the performance of both its workwear and HORECA divisions had continued to meet management's forecasts thus far in 2019.
The AIM-listed outfit's chair said the development of its new Leeds high volume linen facility, which it expects to deliver "considerable logistical benefits and increased capacity" for its business in Northern England, was proceeding to plan and remained on course for coming on stream in the spring of 2020.
"Accordingly, we expect the full year results to be in line with current market expectations," said Shannon.
As of 0950 BST, Johnson shares had moved ahead 2.39% to 152.56p.
