The company said June sales surged 67% year on year, with first-quarter sales up 77%, although it withheld guidance for the full year.
In a separate announcement, the company said chairman John Walden had decided to step down for personal reasons, to be succeeded by non-executive director Ian Harding.
Walden led the group through the sale of its Majestic Wine and Les Celliers de Calais businesses in a £95m deal to rebrand as an online retailer.
“The board continues to believe that Naked is ideally positioned to be a long-term winner from the inflection in consumer demand for online wine as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic,” the company said in a trading statement.
Sales in April and May rose so sharply the company had to temporarily stop taking new orders to cope with demand.
