Koovs lands social media campaign with influential Bollywood star
AIM traded India-based Western-style fashion brand Koovs plc on Thursday landed a social media fashion collaboration with Bollywood icon Taapsee Pannu.

Pannu, who has 17m followers across all social media platforms, is an influential and high-profile film star in India and is currently shooting co-produced by global star and film mogul Shah Rukh Khan in Scotland.
The collaboration will take the form of travel diaries filmed in Rome and is the latest in a number of celebrity-headed social media campaigns that Koovs has described as "highly successful".
A statement from Koovs said: "In the last three months across these campaigns, Koovs has achieved as high as 80% engagement with its social media audience, regularly double that of its nearest competitor."
To date, the company’s social media campaigns have garnered an audience of more than 140m and direct engagement with 6m people.
Mary Turner, chief executive of Koovs said: "In May Redseer Consulting reported that 58% of customers surveyed cited social media as the most influential factor in their fashion choices. So, we are very fortunate that these iconic young stars want to collaborate with our brand to bring fashion and fun from a global stage to their fans and followers."
As of 1256 BST, Koovs’ shares were up 5.98% at 22.52p.
