For the 12 months to 31 March 2015, profit swelled from £0.5m to £0.9m, led by £0.4m from the sale of the group's 55% stake in the Twisted Sista brand in May.
Revenue for the year was up 9% to £21.1m, from £19.4m, extending gains made over the past three years.
The company's outlook remains positive, following last month's disposal of The Real Shaving Company for £1m, which is expected to generate a profit of £0.8m in the current financial year.
"These two disposals illustrate the Group's effectiveness in creating and developing brands which add to shareholder value," chairman William Mcllroy said.
"The Directors consider the creation and development of brands to be an ongoing feature of the business," he added.
As of 915 BST, Creightons was trading 0.6% lower at 8.7p.
