The AIM-traded firm said that in consideration for the lease, AWC Asia would pay a content and license fee of $1.3m in cash to Bricklive Touring, payable up front.
It explained that Mythical Beasts, which comprised a LEGO model tour featuring more than 50 models, was created and built by Bright Bricks, the model building company recently acquired by Live Company.
The Mythical Beasts Asian tour, which would be staged and promoted by AWC Asia, was set to launch in South Korea at the end of January 2019.
“This agreement demonstrates one of the strengths of the recent Bright Bricks acquisition by the company,” said Live Company executive chairman David Ciclitira.
“The Bright Bricks assets are a complementary fit to our existing network, and this is the first example of the opportunities afforded by the acquisition.
“We are excited to be launching Mythical Beasts with AWC Asia and to work closely with them to launch the tour in South Korea.”
Jay Park, president of AWC Asia, added that the firm was “very excited” to welcome Mythical Beasts to South Korea next year.
“This is a great tour and we have no doubt it will generate significant visitor interest.”
