The AIM-traded firm said the initial contract with the medical supplier was in the region of $0.3m, with the value expected to increase alongside the adoption rate within the client's various departments and at different offices across Asia.
It said GIANT 2017 would enable the unnamed client to gain intelligent e-commerce insights to boost revenues and improve overall system management by medical professionals across the business through a wide spectrum of data analytics.
GIANT 2017 enabled administrators to monitor user preferences and needs, as well as identify the preferences of medical professionals whether in terms of equipment, events or reading materials, Fusionex said.
The integrated regional medical supplier of equipment, supplies and services reportedly supports a network of thousands of healthcare institutions, including government and private hospitals, surgery centers, specialist and primary care clinics, laboratories, and nursing homes across Asia.
“This GIANT win further demonstrates the capability and applicability of big data analytics to the healthcare industry, a core focus for Fusionex,” said chief executive Ivan Teh.
“We are delighted to enter into the relationship and we know that the insights and benefits that GIANT will bring to medical professionals will ultimately help thousands of patients.
“The adoption of Big Data in healthcare is crucial and we believe that Fusionex will continue to generate significant revenues from the sector.”
