The module was claimed to be ideally suited for use in the high-performance military command and control markets when combined with one of its existing boards, the company said.
"This single combined unit should provide tailored, powerful processing functionality and up to 2 terra bytes of high performance storage," Concurrent said in a statement.
Glen Fawcett, CEO, Concurrent Technologies Plc, commented: "XM 620/001 is a useful addition to our range of XMC modules as it enhances the storage capability of many of our existing processor boards. One of our initiatives is to make it easier for our customers to construct high performance solutions using a combination of our own products, augmented with those from our partners. This direct attached storage module is another step towards that goal."
