Blancco signs service deal with Aon Group division
Data erasure and mobile device diagnostics company Blancco Technology Group has entered into a multi-year master service agreement (MSA) with a division of professional services firm Aon Group, it announced on Tuesday.
The AIM-traded company said Aon's Affinity business in Europe, Middle East and Africa would use the technology that Blancco acquired as part of the purchase of Inhance Technology in July 2019, as a component of its digital transformation strategy for insurance distribution.
It said that following an “extensive” selection process, Aon chose Blancco for its technology strategy, in which diagnostics played a “vital role” in profiling the specification and operating condition of Internet-connected devices.
That, it explained, enabled a range of applications for risk pricing, service onboarding, personalisation of offers and fraud management.
Blancco said that Aon's global data and analytic services team would support Affinity clients operating at scale, with programme performance, customer propensity, and device lifecycle management analysis to drive customer engagement and revenues.
“This is an excellent example of how our proprietary technology obtained through the acquisition of Inhance can be used by channel partners,” said Blancco’s chief executive officer Matt Jones.
“Since acquiring Inhance in 2019, we have been confident that its technology can support mobile insurance distribution and we are delighted to have so rapidly commercialised this market-leading technology solution.
“We are excited at the roll out of its new product in the months ahead.”
