In a pre-close trading statement for the year to 30 April, the firm, which became the first UK law firm to be publicly listed last month, said it expects revenue to grow 10% year-on-year, on the back of strong fee income growth.
"We are encouraged to report such a strong trading statement, our first as a public company," said group chief executive Michael Ward.
"Post-admission to AIM, Gateley continues to trade very well and we look to the future with confidence."
The firm, which is headquartered in Birmingham and has operations across the UK and in Dubai, raised £30m on its admission to the London Stock Exchange's AIM market in June.
Gateley shares were up 1.69% to 98.64 on Thursday.
