The announcement comes after the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that fully vaccinated people don’t have to cover their faces indoors anymore.
Walmart, Costco and Trader Joe’s are also allowing mask-free shopping except when facial coverings are required by state or local mandate.
Workers at Starbucks on the other hand will still be forced to wear face coverings during work.
The company is eager for the return to normality after the business was battered by the pandemic and lockdowns globally.
The United States has averaged around 1.9m vaccination shots per day over the last seven days, a drop of just 3% from one week ago, to reach 156.2m Americans with at least just one dose, or 47.1% of the total population.
