Cheltenham-based Versarien said the deal would help it market Nanene to new customers, as Lansdowne, a member of the Overlack Group, had distribution, manufacturing and marketing operations in Europe, Asia and the US.
The agreement would be for an initial six months, and thereafter could be terminated on three months' notice.
Versarien chief executive Neill Ricketts said now that the company had proven capacity and capability to produce Nanene it needed to get this new product to market as quickly as possible, to as many as possible and by every appropriate route.
“The agreement with Lansdowne Chemicals will be an important development for us and we are pleased to have secured the support of a significant global chemical distributor," said Ricketts.
They are extremely well known to us and we look forward to utilising their distribution channels, especially in Europe."
