Greek creditors to present deal framework to Athens on Friday
Greece's creditors might present Athens with a framework agreement to break the current deadlock in negotiations over its bailout review, Bloomberg reported.
The proposal would be presented to the government of Alexis Tsipras on Friday, the newswire said citing two people familiar with the matter.
Should Greece not meet the budget targets set under its latest bailout then Athens would be asked to implement fiscal savings measures worth 2.0% of gross domestic product.
Depending on the reaction of Athens to the proposal, the European Commission, ECB, ESM and IMF would "consider" continuing talks with Greek officials.
A soft deadline for Brussels to conclude a deal was thought to be the 20 February meeting of euro area finance ministers.
