Ford updating its F-150 Jeep range, unveils 'City of Tomorrow'
US car-maker Ford Motor Co. has announced a redesign of its popular F-150 Jeep series just two years after the launch of the newest version of the vehicle.

Ford has invested heavily in larger vehicles following a record sales year in 2016, with the F series being one of the most popular in the United States.
The redesign will include tweaks such as a new front-end grille, bolder seat colours and a new diesel engine.
In a press release the Detroit-based company also announced its "City of Tomorrow" plan which includes the investment of $4.5bn in the design and build of 13 new electric vehicles.
Chief executive officer Mark Fields said the move would bring the company ahead of others in the realm of new vehicles.
"This year, the expansion of our business as an auto and mobility company moves into even higher gear," Fields said.
"We're introducing even more new vehicles and technologies to make life better for millions of people in the near term, plus we're presenting a vision and partnering with cities to move more people even more efficiently in the future."
Executive chairman Bill ford added that the ambitious City of Tomorrow project would encompass everything from autonomous driving to ride sharing.
"By solving the mobility challenge, we have the chance to create a better world for future generations. It’s both an exciting opportunity and a big responsibility," he said.
