The Company announces that on 20 May 2022 it had purchased a total of 774,557 of its ordinary shares of £0.10 each (the "ordinary shares") on the Chi-X Europe London Stock Exchange through the Company's broker Goldman Sachs International as detailed below. The repurchased shares will be cancelled.

The purchases form part of the Company's share buyback programme announced on 24 March 2022.
Following settlement of the above purchases and cancellation of the purchased ordinary shares, the Company's total number of ordinary shares in issue shall be 1,167,589,693 ordinary shares.
Following the above purchases, the Company holds 70,489,953 ordinary shares in treasury, which do not carry voting rights, therefore total voting rights are 1,097,099,740 ordinary shares.
In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation), the detailed breakdown of individual trades made by Goldman Sachs International on behalf of the Company as part of the share buyback programme is set out below.
