Schnabl, who joined MyCelx in 2019, purchased the shares on Monday at an average price of 54.00p each, for a total value of £38,662.92.
Following the transaction, Schnabl holds 118,011 common shares in MyCelx, representing 0.51% of the company's total issued capital.
As of 1610 BST, MyCelx shares were up 5.33% at 54.77p.
