Director dealings: IWG boss picks up big batch of shares at multi-year lows

IWG boss Mark Dixon picked up a big batch of the shares in the company he founded at the start of the week, as they broke through technical support to reach their lowest level since early 2013.

Dixon bought 2.0m shares in the rented office and co-working specialist on 16 March via six different exchanges at 151.2p apiece, for a total transaction amount of £3,023,999.93.

Roughly two weeks before, the company, formerly known as Regus, had reported what it termed a "transformational" year in 2019, with revenues at current exchange rates 10.4% higher to £2.65bn.

Yet since 14 February, the shares had been pummeled, losing 61% of their value to 147.7p.
