NMC Health is the largest private healthcare company in the United Arab Emirates and claims to be one of the biggest providers of fertility services globally. It boasts more than 200 healthcare facilities around the world, including hospitals, medical centres, long term care facilities, day surgery centres, fertility clinics and home health services, and employs more than 2,000 doctors and 20,000 paramedical and support staff. It was founded in 1974 in Abu Dhabi by Bavaguthu Raghuram Shetty under the name New Medical Center.
