FTSE 100 movers: Travel shares recover; Ocado loses ground
London’s FTSE 100 was up 1.4% at 7,155.57in afternoon trade on Wednesday.
Cybersecurity firm Darktrace was the standout gainer on index.
Travel and hospitality stocks were among the top risers following recent Omicron-fuelled losses. British Airways and Iberia owner IAG, Premier Inn owner Whitbread and InterContinental Hotels were all higher
On the downside, online supermarket Ocado - which has tended to benefit from restrictions and lockdowns - was the worst performer on the index.
