Wizz Air capacity increases as carrier continues to grow network
Low-cost airline Wizz Air reported increased capacity and passenger numbers for September on Wednesday, with the group continuing to grow its network and improve its customer offering.

Wizz Air's capacity grew 19.7% year-on-year to hit 4.03m following a route network expansion, including 24 new routes to Poland, Hungary and Romania, and the addition of Brussels Zaventem as a new destination.
The FTSE 250-listed carrier also continued to work on its base expansion with the allocation of five new aircraft to Budapest, Warsaw, Gdansk and Krakow.
Booked passenger numbers increased 20.3% to 3.81m.
Wizz Air once again reported the lowest CO2 emissions per passenger/kilometre amongst all of its competitors and, at 56.9 grams, CO2 emissions in grams per passenger/km for September were down 3.6% year-on-year.
As of 0825 BST, Wizz Air shares were 0.91% lower at 3,609p.
