Smart Metering Systems lifts guidance as CEO steps down
Smart Metering Systems on Friday lifted annual guidance and said chief executive Alan Foy would step down in March.
It expected 2021 underlying pretax profit to be marginally ahead of consensus. The energy infrastructure company said index-linked annual recurring revenue for 2021 was forecast to grow 12% to £85.9m.
It also guided for a 10% rise in the 2022 dividend to 30.25p a share.
"As we look at 2022, we remain confident with previously guided expectations for the year," Foy said.
Chief Operating Officer Tim Mortlock will succeed Foy when he steps down on March 1.
