Senior said it worked with MTU on several stages of the engines for the Airbus A320neo family, the Irkut MS-21 as well as the Embraer E2-Jet family.
Airfoils have been supplied to MTU by Senior's aerospace unit since 2014. This contract extension represents an additional ten years to the existing term and is projected to achieve total additional sales revenue of approximately US$330M.
“This is a dual source arrangement from Senior Aerospace Thailand and Senior Aerospace Weston, UK which provides optimum risk mitigation for our customer,” Senior said on Tuesday.
