Rozes succeeds Paul Mainwaring, whose departure was announced in January. He will join the group on 1 June as an executive director and CFO, following which there will be a month's handover from Mainwaring before he leaves the company.
Chief executive officer June Felix said: "I am thrilled that Charlie is joining the executive team of IG. He brings extensive international experience of leading and working with UK and overseas operations and has successfully driven a number of substantial growth programmes throughout his career.
"Charlie's UK PLC and executive director experience will further support IG as it continues to grow its sustainable and diversified global business and in achieving its strategic growth ambitions."
Rozes began his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and became a partner in 2001 in the US management consulting practice. After that, he held senior executive roles at IBM and Bank of America. In 2007, he joined Barclays, where he was CFO of the UK retail and business bank and became the global head of investor relations in September 2011 until August 2015.
He was the group finance director at Jardine Lloyd Thompson from September 2015 until April 2019 when it was acquired by Marsh & McLennan Companies.
