HICL Infrastructure reveals more details on new Dutch investment
HICL Infrastructure Company updated the market on Thursday on its new investment in the Netherlands, which was initially announced on 18 March.
The FTSE 250 company said that, further to its investment in the Breda Court public-private partnership (PPP) project in the country, it was continuing its partnership with Macquarie by acquiring certain rights to make an investment in the Blankenburg Connection PPP project.
“Macquarie, in cooperation with InfraRed's asset management team, will retain lead responsibility for active management during the construction of the project,” HICL’s board said in its statement.
“Under the arrangement, the group has committed to invest circa £50m in the form of a deferred equity subscription.”
