The AIM-traded firm said the reports provided marketers, media buyers, and the wider audio industry with “validated and transparent” metrics, and as such they were a pre-eminent source of data for the industry.
It said the reports highlighted Audioboom's growth, and “strong standing” in the United States, which is the world's largest podcast market.
Key data points in the reports showed that, on average, the company distributed 7.1 million downloads and reached 2.2 million users in the US each week during the April-May reporting period.
Its most popular titles in the US were Morbid, the Morning Toast, and Casefile, all of which ranked inside the top 40, by average weekly downloads.
Audioboom said it would also be included in the reports Triton produces for Australia and Latin America.
“We are delighted to be included in Triton's Podcast Reports, as approaching the marketplace with validated and transparent measurements remains a critically important component of our overall podcast strategy,” said chief executive officer Stuart Last.
“Audioboom is a global leader in podcasting and there is no better partner than Triton Digital to provide the measurements that will enhance our relationships with brands with a view to increasing our advertising revenue in our key territories.”
