DJ US Ethanol Stocks Expected to Extend Decline -- Market Talk
2021 Dow Jones & Company, Inc.
12:49 ET - Analysts surveyed by Dow Jones this week say they largely expect inventories of ethanol in the US to extend their streak of declines. These analysts forecast inventories to land as low as 21M barrels, versus 20.4M barrels reported last week by the EIA. Should the EIA report another drop in inventories, it will be the seventh consecutive week that ethanol inventories have fallen. Meanwhile, daily ethanol production in the US is expected to stay level in this week's report, with analysts forecasting a range of 913,000-933,000 barrels a day versus an estimate of 923,000 reported last week.
