Daimler warns on profits again amid diesel issues
Daimler warned on profit for the third time in a year on Sunday as it increased provisions related to diesel vehicles.
The car maker said second-quarter earnings will take a "high three digital million" hit, while the outlook for 2019 group earnings before interest and tax is now expected to be similar to the previous year. It had previously expected a small increase.
Daimler put the revisions down to an "increase of provisions for various ongoing governmental proceedings and measures relating to diesel vehicles".
The company also said it sees a return on sales of Mercedes-Benz vans between minus 4% and minus 2%.
At 0850 BST, the shares were down 3.6% at €47.84.
