Chief executive Philip de Klerk and non-executive directors Peter Bertram and Trudy Schoolenberg also upped their stakes in Low & Bonar on Wednesday.
Back in December, Low & Bonar warned on profits and cut its dividend as tough trading conditions during the final quarter were further exacerbated by a fire that disrupted production.
Low & Bonar said it was now anticipating full-year underlying profit before taxation and amortisation of around £17m for the year ended in November, down from prior expectations and below last year’s underlying profit before tax of £30.7m.
As of 1640 GMT, Low & Bonar shares had dipped 0.012% to 16.95p.
