Over-allotment earns Uniphar an extra EUR 4.39m from placing

Uniphar announced on Friday that, in connection with its placing and admission, it stabilisation manager J&E Davy had given notice to exercise the over-allotment option granted by the company in respect of 3,818,004 ordinary shares.
The AIM-traded firm said the over-allotment amounted to €4.39m (£4m) of further gross proceeds, resulting in total gross proceeds of €139m from the placing.
It confirmed application had been made for the 3,818,004 shares to be admitted to trading on Euronext Growth in Dublin and on AIM in London, which was expected to occur at 0800 Irish Standard Time - equivalent to British Summer Time - on 21 August.
“Following the exercise of the over-allotment option and issue of the 3,818,004 over-allotment shares, the total issued share capital of the company will be 273,015,254 ordinary shares,” the Uniphar board said in its statement.
