Correro secures new and expanded customer orders totalling $1m
Network security company Corero secured two new customer orders for its SmartWall DDoS protection products on Monday, as well as two expansion orders from existing customers, totalling $1m.

Corero said its first new order was with an unnamed "global cloud infrastructure provider", which had deployed SmartWall products in multiple data centres, with a supporting one-year contract for the group's SecureWatch services.
In addition, Corero said an unnamed internet service provider had ordered a suite of SmartWall products, deployed in multiple data centres, with a supporting one-year contract for SecureWatch services.
The AIM-listed group also said an existing global cloud security customer had ordered a suite of SmartWall products, with a supporting three-year contract for SecureWatch services, while a "leading global cloud services provider and longstanding Corero customer" had ordered further SmartWall products - also with a supporting three-year contract for SecureWatch services.
Chief executive Ashley Stephenson said: "These significant customer orders further demonstrate the continued demand for our SmartWall products.
"We are pleased to support these customers as they increase the security and scale of their networks to deliver the services that power their respective businesses."
As of 1030 BST, Corero shares were up 1.29% at 7.47p.
