Appointment of COO
accesso Technology Group plc (AIM: ACSO), the premier technology solutions provider to leisure, entertainment, hospitality, attractions and cultural markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Guilfoy as the Company's Chief Operating Officer (COO) starting on June 5th.
John will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Company, driving sales and leading the development of accesso's new scalable and unified product portfolio. His role will include managing the alignment of teams to enable cohesive technology development and product functions across portfolios, collaborating with the rest of the leadership team to develop and implement operational plans to accommodate the next phase of accesso's growth. John will be based out of Lake Mary, FL and will report directly to accesso's CEO Paul Noland.
John brings more than 23 years of experience in the travel, technology and financial services sectors leading a diverse set of teams across sales, marketing, product, operations and partnerships. From 2011 until he joined accesso, John served in various senior executive roles at TravelClick, a high-growth eCommerce Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS) provider to hotels, which was acquired by Amadeus for $1.5B.
John was also General Manager of EZYield, a global SaaS firm acquired by TravelClick, and successfully grew the company while leading it through a complex merger integration. John also created a Strategic Partnerships team which delivered compelling product innovations and commercial arrangements with eCommerce partners including Expedia and Booking.com. Additionally, he led transformational efforts to support TravelClick's growth and scale by creating and executing go-to-market strategies across the Enterprise Sales, Inside Sales, Account Management, Operations teams.
John earned his MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School with a Concentration in Management and Finance. He also earned a BA in Economics from Columbia University in New York City, NY.
