Xaar, a British industrial inkjet technology supplier, has signed an agreement with Xerox corporation to partner in bulk piezoelectric (piezo) inkjet printheads. The partnership capitalises on each company’s considerable expertise in bulk piezo printhead development, which will in turn deliver “substantial benefits” to the market through leveraging both companies’ market-leading technology to bring consumers a broader range of bulk piezo printheads.

Atlantis Resources, an AIM listed turbine supplier and project owner in the tidal power industry, has announced that it is establishing a new internal division called Atlantis Energy as part of its diversification strategy. The division is set to leverage the existing skill set the company has accumulated during the progression of MeyGen, the world’s largest tidal power project.

Evgen Pharma, a clinical stage drug development company focused on the treatment of cancer and neurological conditions, has received a positive interim safety review from the independent Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) for its Phase II double-blind placebo-controlled SAS trial of SFX-01 in subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH). The DSMB review was part of the SAS trial protocol and was triggered by the 20th patient being does for a minimum of seven days whilst in hospital care. The review resulted in a recommendation to proceed as planned, continuing the dosages after being discharged for up to 28 days.

AIM-listed online media and entertainment group PCG Entertainment has agreed to the sale of its wholly-owned subsidiary Center Point Development Corp to a consortium of existing shareholders in the company in exchange for a 30% interest in PCG. PCG bought CPDC in August 2015 for just over 114.8m PCG shares but since then issues have arisen relating to a dispute between the vendors of CPDC and its major supplier, leading to a drop in revenue.

Alexander Mining has signed a marketing agreement with a prominent Mongolian commodities expert over the potential commercial use of the AIM company's leaching technologies in the country. Alexander said Dr Jadambaa Temuujin, chief research scientist at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences's chemistry department and with "strong ties" with many mining and minerals processing companies in Mongolia, had agreed to a two-year deal with a rolling mutually agreeable six monthly extension thereafter.

Energy storage and clean fuel company ITMPower announced the sale of a €0.7m electrolyser system to a global specialty gas company by competitive tender on Wednesday. “We are delighted to have been successful in another tender process as part of a key strategic hydrogen refuelling initiative,” said CEO Graham Cooley in a short statement. We look forward to updating the market on further progress from this important partnership.”
