Digital music and radio services company 7digital has signed a new deal with streaming platform Playster for an undisclosed amount.

Under the terms of the deal, the group will expand its music streaming service into 15 additional countries.

Meanwhile, 7digital has also launched two new services for Mariposa Holdings Group in Brazil, which have now gone live with telecom companies Algar Telecom and Oi.

The group said it expects both deals to be revenue enhancing from next year.

"The service launches with Mariposa show both the importance of mobile music to the Company's growth and our ability to work with partners to generate revenues in markets that have been previously underserved by strong digital music offerings,” said group chief executive Simon Cole.

“Our partnership with Playster aligns with the Company's strategy to support customers who pursue business models that target more mainstream audiences."

7digital shares were up 2.86% to 9.00p at 1613 GMT on Thursday.
