Wincanton wins Morrisons contract
Wincanton has won a contract to transport goods from three Morrisons warehouses to the supermarket chain's stores.
The logistics company said under the five-year contract it would manage transport planning and operations from the warehouses and be responsible for vehicle maintenance.
Adrian Colman, Wincanton's chief executive, said: "This significant new contract with Morrisons further underlines our position as a leading logistics provider in the grocery retail market.
"We are delighted to have been appointed by such a recognisable brand and look forward to supporting the operation and its network of stores throughout the country."
