William Hill's chief financial officer set to join Barratt

Neil Cooper, William Hill’s group finance director, will step down from his role to become chief financial officer at Barratt Developments, the gambling company has announced.

The FTSE 250 group said Cooper, who has been part of William Hill’s management team since May 2010, has notice period of 12 months and his departure date will be confirmed in the next few months.

“Cooper has built a strong finance and investor relations team and supported the group's digital and international diversification,” said group chief executive James Henderson.

“He leaves us in excellent financial health.”

William Hill shares were down 0.98% to 403.30p at 08:28 on Thursday.
