Ultra Electronics wins supply deal for new Gulfstream aircraft

The controls business of Ultra Electronics has been selected to supply electronic equipment on the newly announced Gulfstream G500 and G600 aircraft.

Based on forecast sales of these aircraft, Ultra anticipates that these contracts will generate revenue of more than £45m over a multi-year contract.

Chief executive Rakesh Sharma said: "We are delighted to have secured these new contracts with Gulfstream, which follow on from an earlier contract for similar equipment on the G650.

"We are looking forward to maintaining this excellent relationship during the production and support phases of the programme."

Ultra will supply the landing gear control computer, the steering control computer and the electric main entry door control computer.
