Sage names Cath Keers as CMO

Newcastle-based software company Sage appointed Cath Keers as chief marketing officer on Tuesday.

Keers, who joined Sage from TalkTalk Telecom in 2017, will step down from her current role as non-independent director with immediate effect and take over as CMO on 8 September.

The FTSE 250-listed group's chairman, Sir Donald Brydon, said: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Cath for her contribution in her role as a director and would like to wish her continued success in her new role within the group".

As of 0825 BST, Sage shares were up 0.51% at 673.60p.
