Ryanair traffic grows 9% in December

Budget airline Ryanair reported a 9% jump in December traffic on Friday.

Group traffic rose to 11.2m from 10.3m in December 2018, while the load factor - which gauges how full the planes are - came in at 95%.

Ryanair traffic was up 7% to 10.7m with a 95% load factor, while Lauda passenger numbers grew 67% to 0.5m, also with a 95% load factor.

On a rolling 12-month basis, traffic increased 9% to 152.4m, with a 96% load factor.
