PageGroup CEO taking leave of absence after skiing accident

Recruiter PageGroup said on Friday that chief executive Steve Ingham will take a leave of absence for "a number of weeks" after a skiing accident left him with a severe back injury.

In his absence, the PageGroup executive team will continue to run the operations globally, led by chief financial officer Kelvin Stagg.

"A further announcement will be made as appropriate," the company said.

At 0925 GMT, the shares were up 0.9% to 480.60p.
