Murgitroyd appoints three directors

Intellectual property firm Murgitroyd has announced three new appointments to its board, effective immediately.

Gordon Stark, Christopher Masters and John Reid have been made non-executive directors of the group.

Stark was a qualified UK and European Patent Attorney and had already spent a number of years managing Murgitroyd's Irish operations from its Dublin Office. Stark was currently based in Murgitroyd’s Edinburgh office, the company said in a statement.

Masters was a research chemist by training and had held executive positions at Energy Assets Group and Speedy Hire.

Reid had his own consultancy had has extensive experience in commercialising innovation, Murgitroyd said.

In February non-executive David Gray resigned from the board.

Shares in the AIM listed company were up by 0.37% to 527p at 1339 BST.
