MedicX acquires new primary healthcare centre for £2.9m

MedicX, a specialist primary care infrastructure investor has signed an agreement to acquire a new primary healthcare medical centre in Anglesey for total costs of £2.9m.

The deal, which is due for completion in May 2016, will be carried out by way of forward funding.

The acquisition is being made under the framework agreement with General Practice Investment Corporation ("GPI") which was agreed in May 2013.

Once completed, the development will be let for a 20-year term.

The firm's total property portfolio is comprised of 142 properties across the UK.
