Kier Group has been awarded three major UK construction frameworks totalling more than £5bn.

The FTSE 250 property, residential, construction and services company said it has won a place on the four-year £4bn Department of Health Procure22 framework.

It has also secured a place as one of five suppliers on two five-year construction frameworks worth up to £750m at Gatwick Airport.

Finally, it was awarded a place on the two-year £500m University of Cambridge framework to provide a range of facilities including laboratories, teaching and lecture spaces and sport facilities.

Chief executive Haydn Mursell said: “These awards demonstrate the breadth of our offering and the strength of our relationships with clients across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, aviation and education.

“Such awards, which account for approximately half of our UK regional building revenues, enable us to work closely with our clients to deliver on their long-term requirements and they further bolster our strong construction order book."
