Just Eat boss to take leave of absence for medical treatment

The executive chairman of popular fast-food mobile app Just Eat was to take a leave of absence in order to undergo medical treatment.

Dr. John Hughes will be replaced by finance chief Paul Harrison who together with Andrew Griffith, who will now take up the post of non-executive chairman, will complete the search for a permanent chief executive.

Hughes will remain a non-executive director of the firm.
