Jaguar Land Rover appoints new head of sales in China

Mark Bishop, the former managing director of Porsche China, has been appointed as Jaguar Land Rover’s new head of sales in China.

On Monday, the automotive giant said Bishop will oversee sales and marketing for Land Rover, Jaguar and vehicles produced through the group’s joint venture with China's Chery Automobile in the country.

In the first quarter of 2015, the company’s sales fell 20% year-on-year in China, as the country’s economic slowdown weighed on the automotive industry.
