Will Samuel is set to step down from his role as non-executive chairman of Howden Joinery, the kitchens and joinery manufacturer said.

Samuel, who will leave his position after the annual general meeting in 2016, will be replaced by Richard Pennycook, who has held the role of non-executive director at the FTSE 250 group since September 2013.
