HomeServe appoints David Bower as CFO

Emergency repairs business HomeServe has appointed David Bower as chief financial Officer with immediate effect and he will also join the board and executive committee.

Bower, who joined HomeServe in 2005, was previously interim chief financial officer and held a number of senior divisional and group finance roles including six years as group finance director.

Prior to joining HomeServe, he spent over a decade at Arthur Andersen, later Deloitte, where he qualified as a chartered accountant.

Chief executive Richard Harpin said: "Following a thorough internal and external process, we are delighted to announce David's appointment. He has already proven his capabilities as CFO, is a tremendous asset to HomeServe and will be a strong addition to the board."
