Halma boss appointed to Capita board

Outsourcing company Capita has appointed Halma’s boss Andrew Williams to its board as an independent non-executive director.

Williams, who has been the chief executive of safety, health and environmental technologies group Halma since February 2005, will join the FTSE 100 company on 1 January 2015.

"Andrew brings a wealth of experience gained from his senior leadership and operational management roles across a wide range of industry sectors and countries,” said Capita’s chief executive Andy Parker.

“His skills and experience will add further depth and strength to the Capita board. We welcome Andrew and look forward to his contribution to the team."
