Grainger director Nick Jopling to step down

Executive director Nick Jopling will step down from the board of residential landlord Grainger at the end of next month and will leave the group at the end of the year.

The company said his property responsibilities will be passed to its directors for investment and development and Jopling will not be replaced on the board.

Chairman Mark Clare said: "Nick has been a strong advocate of PRS over the last seven years at Grainger and has played an important role in the transformation of the business. On behalf of the board I would like to express my gratitude to him for his significant contribution."

At 1037 BST, the shares were up 0.4% to 252.40p.
